This 905-tonne indoor, fully automated container storage facility has an apex height of 25 metres, standing out against the skyline by Christchurch Airport.
John Jones Steel was engaged to build and erect the 16-tonne wall and 22-tonne roof sections for the facility. We built them on the ground and lifted them into place with our cranes to minimise at height work and speed up the erection process.
